These Terms govern your access to and use of Boomfire at boomfire.com, operated by Boomfire. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Boomfire is a widget catalog and dashboard platform. You may browse, install, configure, and optionally publish widget definitions subject to these Terms and our community guidelines.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security risks.

3. Your content and widgets

• You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a license to host, display, and process it solely to operate the Service.
• Community widget definitions must not contain malware, illegal material, or infringing content.
• We may remove content or definitions that violate law or these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service without permission.
• Use the Service to spam, harass, or distribute unlawful content.
• Attempt unauthorized access to other users' data or our systems.
• Circumvent technical limits or security measures.

5. Third-party services

Widgets and integrations may fetch data from third-party sites (RSS feeds, weather APIs, OAuth providers, etc.). Their terms and privacy policies apply to those interactions. We are not responsible for third-party services.

6. Availability and changes

We strive for reliable operation but provide the Service "as is". We may modify features, impose limits, or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boomfire is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) EUR 100, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request account deletion by contacting support@boomfire.com. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Boomfire in United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain unaffected where applicable.
